New York divorce attorney Scott Orgel recently volunteered his time at the Harvest in the Square event, presented by the Union Square Partnership. Now in its 21st year, Harvest in the Square is a popular annual event showcasing the strength and breadth of Union Square’s culinary community. At the event, chefs from the district’s best restaurants serve tastings of signature dishes, which are paired with local microbrews and wines. Mr. Orgel has volunteered at this event for the last decade by pouring wine for attendees.
All proceeds from Harvest in the Square support neighborhood beautification efforts and complimentary community programs. Over the past five years, this event has raised over $5 million to find a wide range of vital district improvements.
