Recently, Scott Orgel, attorney at Eiges & Orgel, PLLC, was interviewed for a piece that appeared on Health.com, discussing the notable increase in family dispute consultations since the stay-at-home order became effective. Orgel explained that, in cases where families or couples were already experiencing difficulties, quarantine can feel almost endless.

Even in cases where couples were not necessarily experiencing marital issues, quarantine may reveal flaws spouses were unaware of in their relationship. “More people are accepting that the person that they thought they enjoyed being with just isn’t the one for them anymore,” Orgel said in the article.
